Hello, Kissam Intermediate families!
I am truly excited to be part of the Chapel Hill ISD family and to serve as the principal of Kissam Intermediate. Education has been my home since 2002, when I began teaching in South Houston. Since then, my journey has taken me across Texas, giving me the opportunity to learn from many communities, campuses, and classrooms.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles—including teacher, coach, instructional coach, testing coordinator, and assistant principal. Each position has shaped my belief that schools thrive when students feel known, supported, and empowered to lead their own learning.
At Kissam Intermediate, building strong relationships and a culture of student empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. I am eager to watch our students grow socially, emotionally, and academically as they engage in our core content classes and the STEAAM Academy.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. I’m looking forward to an incredible year together.
